Is this an album or a stage musical?
Both forms are part of the project. The fifteen-song concept album is available in the songbook. A developmental two-act rehearsal edition expands the story with spoken scenes, blocking, choreography and cue concepts. It is not a finalized notated score.
Why does the album have four movements, but the show has two acts?
The album divides its narrative into The Perfect Christmas, The World of Almost, The Cost of Perfect and The Unwritten Christmas. The stage adaptation combines that journey into two acts, with intermission after Song 8.
Can our theatre or school perform it?
Please make a performance inquiry with your proposed format, dates, venue and company details. Availability, materials and permissions need to be discussed for the proposed presentation. Read the performance information.
Can we use the recordings, lyrics or artwork?
Listening or browsing does not itself grant reuse rights. Please describe the material and intended use in a rights inquiry, including any recording, streaming, adaptation or publicity plans.
Are there performances or tickets to book?
This website does not currently list confirmed performances or offer ticket sales. You can contact the creator about the project or a proposed event.
What themes should audiences and directors know about?
The Christmas fantasy explores grief, a missing parent, exclusion, control and rebuilding relationships. It also contains humour, friendship, puppetry possibilities and joyful ensemble moments. Prospective companies should discuss the text and their audience with the creator.
How do I explore the website?
Enter Bellwether, touch the lights in the scenery, and use the map to travel. On a phone you can pan the world sideways. Flicker gives hints. You can always open the songbook directly, and sound starts only when you choose to play.
Can I turn off snow or use the site with a keyboard?
The snowflake control switches snowfall on or off. The world respects reduced-motion preferences. Navigation, hotspots, song controls and dialogs can be reached with the keyboard; Escape closes a dialog.
